The glossary — chapter 2 of 12
Keyword Research & Intent, defined
How demand is found, read and mapped before anything gets written.
In practice
A consultant checks real queries, the SERP and commercial value before assigning the term to a page.
Why it matters
It helps prioritise demand and intent without letting a tool make the entire strategy.
Search Volume
An estimate of how often a keyword is searched during a given period.
Ana says: It is an estimate, not a prophecy delivered from a mountain.
Keyword Difficulty
A tool-generated estimate of how competitive a keyword may be.
Ana says: Use the data as evidence, not as a commandment delivered by a tool.
Long-tail Keyword
A longer, more specific query with clearer context or intent.
Ana says: Low volume does not mean low value. Sometimes the quiet keyword arrives with a credit card.
Beyond the definitions
Where this chapter becomes work
Demand, intent and content — planned before anything gets written.
Proof, or nothing.
Where this leads
The definitions are free. The diagnosis is a conversation.
A conversation first, to check the fit. If what you need is not something I do, I will tell you who does.
Nine ways of working, from a one-off audit to ongoing consulting.
