When this is the right move
You rank nationally and vanish two streets away
Local results are a separate system with separate rules. A site can be excellent everywhere and still be missing from the only three results anyone taps.
- You are invisible in the map pack while smaller competitors are not.
- Multiple locations compete with each other instead of each owning its own area.
- Your profile is out of date, or duplicated, or someone else edited it.
- Reviews arrive and nothing happens, because nothing is set up to use them.
How it works
Four stages, in this order
- Audit the profileWhat Google currently believes about your locations, hours, categories and service areas — including the duplicates you did not know existed.
- Fix the foundationsConsistent details everywhere they appear, correct categories, and location pages that are pages rather than templates with a town name swapped in.
- Build local relevanceContent and signals tied to the actual area, so relevance is earned rather than declared.
- MeasureCalls, direction requests and local visibility, not national rankings that mean nothing here.
Fit
Who this is for
A good fit
- Businesses with one or more physical locations
- Service-area businesses that travel to the customer
- Multi-location brands whose pages compete with each other
Not a good fit
- Purely online businesses with no place attached — that is SEO Audit & Strategy
- Anyone wanting fake reviews or fake locations. Both get found.
- Sites with no capacity to keep details up to date
Questions
Before you get in touch
Is this just about Google Business Profile?
The profile is where it shows, not where it is decided. Categories, consistency, the pages behind it and genuine local relevance all feed what Google is willing to show, and the profile alone rarely moves it.
We have several locations. Do they need separate pages?
Usually yes, and usually they are competing with each other right now. Location pages only work when each one is genuinely about that place rather than a template with the town name swapped in.
Does local SEO matter if we also sell online?
Often more, not less. A local result frequently reaches someone closer to buying than a national one, and the two do not conflict — ecommerce work sits under Ecommerce SEO.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
Local work is priced against the number of locations or service areas in scope. Fee and timeline are agreed before anything starts.
